We want to promote the region’s potential. Externally

Today marks the launch of our service, LandTravel.pl, whose aim is to promote the tourist assets of the region. The site is created with external visitors in mind, so we focus on the most important information showcasing the region’s tourist potential, and we support visitors with practical guides. Launching the project in winter is meant to show that we also see tourist potential in December, when we can try to attract visitors with the Christmas market. Entrepreneurs seem to see it as well, as this year we have a fairly rich offer of cruises under the bridge where the market takes place.

LandTravel is a completely private initiative. Unlike similar public services, we want to rely on new technologies, video content, and explore entirely new avenues. One of our ideas is to prepare content in Arabic, as the example of Zakopane shows that Poland can be an attractive tourist destination in Arab countries.

Using the latest research, we also want to build a tourist identity by highlighting the route of the historic Amber Road and associating Bydgoszcz with the ancient city of Askaukalis, based on Claudius Ptolemy’s map found in Alexandria.
