In the coming weeks, PESA Bydgoszcz will acquire 100% of the shares in HeiterBlick, a Leipzig-based company. HeiterBlick is a well-established German tram manufacturer. The acquisition is intended to strengthen PESA’s technological capabilities in the tram sector and enable further expansion.

The investment agreement concerning PESA’s acquisition of 100% of HeiterBlick’s shares was signed in December, and the formal takeover is scheduled to take place in the first quarter of the current year.

“We believe that PESA and HeiterBlick complement each other perfectly – the merger creates a synergy of competencies and a mutual exchange of experience between both teams, which is key to strengthening our position in Europe,” emphasizes Krzysztof Zdziarski, CEO of PESA Bydgoszcz.

The merger with HB will strengthen PESA’s potential in the ‘Urban’ agglomeration vehicle segment, and thanks to ongoing investments and secured financing, the company will continue its stable development and market expansion.

PESA’s tram portfolio currently includes nearly one thousand trams built to date, operating in more than 20 European cities. PESA Swing trams also dominate the tracks in Bydgoszcz.
