Today, the company operates virtually around the clock, being the main producer of TNT across NATO, which allows it to produce around 10,000 tons of TNT annually. The increase in production capacity will be possible thanks to the planned expansion over the next two years, which will be carried out by PROZAP, a company affiliated with the Grupa Azoty.

On Monday, a contract was officially signed with PROZAP to increase TNT production capacity. The value of the investment is estimated at over PLN 1.1 billion. This process will be financially supported by the state budget, as the increase in production capacity is intended to contribute to improving Poland’s security.

Currently, the main recipient of TNT from Nitro-Chem is the United States, which purchases approximately 70% of the production.
